Below deck, the surprising roomy interior of the Albin 28 Tournament Express has the comforts of a much larger boat with a full service galley, an enclosed head with shower, and sleeping accommodations for four.

Entering the vessel from the swim step through a transom door, the cockpit area is well suited for fishing. There are storage boxes and below the combing provision for rods & gaffs. Up one step to the helm to starboard with tackle center. Opposite to port are two seats facing fore & aft with drawers below.

Entering the companionway on center and down two steps one finds the galley to port followed by a double quarter berth. The head is to starboard with a Vacu-flush marine toilet, stainless sink with pull-out hand held shower, cabinet and mirror. Continuing forward is a U-shape convertible hi-lo dinette which converts to a double berth. There are six opening ports providing good ventilation, a teak and holly cabin sole, and teak trim.
