Accommodations

The "HANKO" is an Arthur DeFever design 46' cruising trawler. Built by American Marine (Grand Banks) from the mid 60's to 1972. It has proven to be a true Classic yacht by design, construction, sea kindly ability and visual aesthetics. Over the years this model has become a very popular design based on the large pilothouse, exceptional galley and salon, nice cockpit, and overall quality. The "Portuguese wing bridge" and near walk-in engine room are also high points to consider in this yacht.

Entering the vessel on the starboard side with a walkway to a very spacious aft deck area with seating and steps leading to the flybridge, there are double doors that lead into a very comfortable salon with an "L" shape leather sofa and coffee table to port and 2 chairs and table to starboard. Going forward there is a galley to port and a refrigerator to starboard, then down steps to a mid cabin to port which is the guest cabin.  There is a head to the starboard also mid ship and then forward to a very nice master cabin with queen sized berth on port, sofa and cabinets, and in the bow is a head.

Leading from the galley there are steps up to the helm station where there is a settee for visiting with the Captain while in the pilothouse area. From there you can access the Portuguese walk around from either port or starboard and a view of the bow area. There is also access to the flybridge from the forward port area side-deck deck.  The flybridge has seating for three controls along with a spacious deck area for sun bathing and can used to store the tender.
