The 42' Chris Craft enjoyed the longest production run of any modern Chris Craft design. Heavily built modified V hull with a sharp entry, generous flare to the bow and a flattened aft section, provides a comfortable dry ride with greater stability while underway or at anchor. Roomy two stateroom, one head interior. Aft of the chain locker in the forepeak is the master double V- berth with filler with 7 storage drawers below.  A double door louvered hanging locker follows to port.  Sink and mirrored cabinet to starboard. Also bookcase on starboard bulkhead.  Bowmar hatch overhead.  Continuing aft is the enclosed head with Vacu-flush marine toilet, glass door stall shower, sink, cabinet and mirror, Bowmar hatch with solar vent. Opposite to starboard is guest cabin with over/under berths, louvered hanging locker, opening port and Bowmar hatch with solar vent.

Up two steps to the galley and salon. The galley is U-shape to port with abundant storage, plenty of counter space and a breakfast bar.  To starboard is a leather sofa. There are windows all around with slide opening port and starboard. A sliding teak door on center leads to the spacious cockpit. From the cockpit up stainless and teak ladder to the enclosed tournament bridge.
