As you first see KODIAK, the impression is of a sturdy yet elegant ship, ready to go today, anywhere. The yacht is easily boarded via port and starboard side gates or the teak-laid swim platform.  The aft deck features a large cockpit with 2 warping winches and sturdy hawsers with numerous handy cleats for docklines or towing a skiff. There is a total of 4 helm stations: flybridge, pilothouse, aft boat deck and aft deck.

Under foot you will immediately see, feel, and appreciate the new teak decks which were just laid by the current owners in 2017 as part of an extensive updating program. There is a varnished teak dining table with circular seating for 10+ on the raised aft California deck. Storage is below the seat and there is small granite serving bar to port, a staircase with hatch cover for access to the upper deck, and the side-by-side opening doors offering enticing views into the main salon.   The side decks of KODIAK are wide and covered and have recessed cleats and numerous hawse holes. There is separate access to the engine room and the fourth/crew cabin through a door on the port side deck. Continuing forward one comes to the Portuguese Bridge, accessible in all weather and safely providing a superior vantage point of the seas and the foredeck.  The foredeck is large and invites lounging with comfortable seating options on the cabin top, leaning back against the Portuguese bridge. There are 2 massive vertical hydraulic windlasses with twin anchors.  The Primary Ultra 80 is equipped with  400' of 1/2" chain.  There is fresh water washdown. The bow pulpit is sturdy and facilitates safe and easy crew work during setting and hauling.

Stepping inside at the double-sliding French doors to the aft salon, the first impression is of fresh, functional, designer décor. There is a serving bar to port with beveled & frosted, lighted glass display cupboards above, Ubatuba granite counters, a teak faced wine-chiller, two teak faced Sub-zero freezer drawers below counter. Forward here is a settee with rounded teak coffee table and the galley in front. To starboard is the hide-away TV cabinet, teak lockers and the dining table. The upholstery, soft goods and carpets throughout the boat were new in  2016.

The lower level can be accessed from the main salon direct to owners stateroom or via the staircase forward of the helm station. The forward stairs take one to the two forward cabins, via an elegant foyer. There is a lighted art display alcove, beautiful teak wood work, and recessed lighting all with excellent hand holds. The home sized washer and dryer unit are new from 2018 and are accessed behind a lovely teak door. The forward machinery spaces are accessed through a gas-lift hatch in this floor. Step forward into the Queen double stateroom. This gorgeous stateroom has an enlarged hatch (new 2018) with Oceanaire blinds.

There are port and starboard opening hull ports  bringing in light and ventilation. There are two large hanging lockers, copious drawers and cabinets, light controls, TV, and a private ensuite with granite counter, mirror, storage, and an elegant shower stall.  From the Foyer to port, one enters the third stateroom. This stateroom features a Queen berth offset to port side, a large hanging locker, drawer storage below, excellent light and ventilation and there is a full head compartment forward with shower and copious storage. The third stateroom can be accessed from the Foyer or, if desired, from a discrete door opening into the full beam mid-ship master cabin just aft.

The entertainment /TV which can disappear behind the elegant teak and glass cabinetry aft.  To port is the large master bath, with opening port, master shower and tub. In 2018 the deck was opened and composite stringers added along with a #3000 stainless steel davit - this is a true work of art!  The Spectra Cable was new in 2018.
