Chuck Hovey Yachts has been based out of Newport Beach, California since 1962. We are the original dealer of Fleming Pilothouse Motoryachts and have been a new boat dealer and yacht brokerage with service for over 60 years.

In 1962, Chuck Hovey began his career in yacht sales with Grand Banks, then became President of Hatteras California making his reputation as a well-known yacht broker. Throughout Chuck’s career, he has represented manufacturers such as Grand Banks, Azimut, Riva, Viking, Ferretti, and Tollycraft, amongst others. It wasn’t until 1985 that Tony Fleming and Chuck Hovey worked together to bring the first Fleming Yacht to Newport beach. Ever since the delivery of Hull no. 1 out front of our Newport Beach office, Chuck Hovey Yachts has been the exclusive West Coast United States dealer for Fleming Yachts. Over the past 35+ years working with Fleming we have overseen the offload of many first-hull models including the Fleming 50, 55, 58, 65, 72, 75, and 78. All these incredibly successful models were delivered to our display slips in Newport Beach.

Located in Lido Yacht Anchorage, on the northern side of Newport Harbor, Chuck Hovey Yachts has multiple display slips right in front of our office ranging between 50 and 130 feet.
