Chuck Hovey Yachts opened our San Diego office in Safe Harbor in 2008. Since then our team in San Diego has grown to become an integral group in the San Diego Yachting industry. Chuck Hovey Yachts office is located on the northeastern side of San Diego Bay, just a couple minutes away from San Diego International Airport.

San Diego has always been a city that revolves around boating. This city is one of two U.S. Cities to ever host the America’s Cup and is the homeport of the pacific fleet. In 2007 and 2008, San Diego invested millions into being able to welcome superyacht and megayacht owners traveling between Alaska and Mexico. This push gave rise to a plethora of mooring options for 100-200 foot vessels with dockside services including concierge and boat maintenance. Nowadays these megayachts maintain a steady presence in the harbor near fifth avenue landing and San Diego mooring company. San Diego Harbor is full of activities on the water including museum ships including the USS Midway, year-round fishing charters, and multiple ten-lane boat ramps. Concrete boardwalks surround the bay, offering owners and visitors a beautiful view of the city from all angles.
