Chuck Hovey Yachts opened our Seattle office on South Lake Union in 1998. Since then our team in Seattle has grown to become one of the leading groups in Pacific Northwest yachts sales. Our office is surrounded by hundreds of miles of scenic water passageways including Lake Union, Puget Sound, Lake Sammamish, and Lake Washington.

Boating is incredibly popular in the state of Washington, with an estimated 700,000 state residents who own some type of watercraft. On Lake Union alone, you’ll be able to find seaplanes, yachts, commercial boats, and many wooden boats as well. Every year, the Center for Wooden Boats hosts a wooden boat festival on Lake Union in September. More events on Lake Union include sailboat races every Tuesday throughout the summer. Kayaking, canoeing, row boating, and stand-up paddleboarding are popular activities that can be explored year-round.
